Google Sightseeing

Google Sightseeing : The Edison Memorial Tower

There's been a bit of a buzz around the office today about Google Maps. Understandable, of course... but, really - is it just that I'm very ahead of the curve, or get my memes served extra hot?

So, in a 'look at the cool things you can do with it' effort, I pinged round a few mashup services, and stumbled across Google Sightseeing - a site that collects funny or unusual or plain interesting things caught in the satelite scans.

My favourite is the Edison Memorial Tower - not much to look at, but it's topped by the WORLD'S BIGGEST LIGHTBULB.

Presumably, it's the standard by which all other memorials are measured?
