Oh, Cory, really.
It's just you American types that refer to Lego Bricks in that funny plural form.
To the rest of us, it's always sounded dumb... :-)

If and when I have a thought, and have ten minutes in the office, I might write mildly diverting thoughts here: about new media in real life, about the web, about the future. But mostly, I think, I'll just wiffle about nothing.

Yup, "Legos" is a curiously US idiom, and Lego is not a US company. While I sympathise with Cory's cognitive dissonance in that the people around him call it "Legos", I can't blame Lego for wanting to make their point here. It's much like when people get other people's names wrong... very annoying - if it happens to be your name that they're getting wrong. :)
Don't let C hear you call him American - he's canadian :)
Canadians - pfaugh. Nothing but Americans who cut a deal with the DA.
Cory, sorry. I meant no slur on your good self. Appart, obviously, from the getting the word wrong thing.
And anyway, aren't Canadians just Americans with a sense of irony and better manners?
